YAN Ping - Chief Accountant

Born in November 1962, Professor YAN, Chief Accountant and Member of the University Council of Hefei University of Technology, is responsible for university financial affairs.
Prior to his tenure as Chief Accountant at HFUT, Professor YAN served successively at Wuhan University, where he obtained both his Bachelor of Medicine and Master of Public Health and MBA degree, as Lecturer, Deputy Director and Director at the Pathology Teaching and Research Office, School of Basic Medical Sciences, Vice Dean of School of Basic Medical Sciences, Deputy Director and Director of Department of the Hi-Tech Industry, General Manager of Asset Management and Investment Co. Ltd., and Director of the Department of Financial Affairs. He was a visiting scholar at the Office of Medical Examiner, Maryland. He was awarded with prizes for his achievements during his supervision over several State Key Research Programs on New Medicines, such as Mouse Nerve Growth Factor for Injection, Ampicillin Sodium Suppositories and Transfer Factor against Hepatitis B.

Professor YAN has dedicated himself to research on forensic clinical medicine and pathology and modeling and application of animal gastric carcinoma. He wrote 1 monograph, namely, Forensic Radiology Diagnosis and co-authored TB Infection Model Experimental Techniques for Non-Human Hominid. Professor YAN has also published many papers in national and international journals like Journal of Wuhan University, American Journal of Forensic Medicine & Pathology and Journal of Forensic Sciences.

Professor YAN’s major social positions include: Secretary and Deputy Director of the University Branch of Accountants’ Association of Hubei Province, Visiting Professor at the School of Medicine, Maryland University, Member of the China Society of Accounting Education, President Commissioner of the Hubei Association of Judicial Expertise, and Director of the Hubei Forensic Medicine Association.
