The 7th “Higher Education Cup” National College Students' Advanced Mapping Technology and Product Information Modeling Innovation Contest fell its curtain at Sanxia University on August 6th. The team of our university composed of members from Feicuihu campus and Xuancheng campus won the first prize in machine once more, making our university the winner for the sixth successive years.

This year’s contest attracted more than 2000 students and teachers from 165 universities including Harbin Institute of Technology, Wuhan University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Chongqing University and etc, making the biggest contest with the record-high number of participants.

The contest was co-hosted by Teaching-Guiding Committee for College Engineering Graphics Majors under the Ministry of Education, Drawing Technology Committee of China Graphics Society and Product Information Modeling Committee of China Graphics Society aiming to popularize advanced mapping technology, spread developed designing idea, concept and methodology, and to consolidate the basis of proper product design so as to connect different universities and their students for convenient communication and fair learning.
