Service robot has an awfully significant value in assisting human beings, thus attracting special attention of scholars at home and abroad. The competition of ‘Picking up rubbish’ requires high coordination between vision and operation for robots, involving high-techonology. With much work of program debugging before the competition, full preparation for possible emergency and quick response to the circumstance of the court after arriving at the spot, our team made an almost consummate completion of a series of motions using 55 seconds, including searching for the rubbish, picking up it, finding the trash can and throwing it into the can ultimately. It was a pity to be defeated by Huazhong University of Science and Technology by 4 seconds. As for the competition of ‘Pas de deux’, the fantastic choreography began with Scarborough Fair song, making a mixture with the pop music Little Apples, fully showed the soft and passion of robot dance, finally enabled our team to step onto the third stage of the award podium.
