The HFUT delegation composed of three students from Xuancheng Campus bore away the first prize at BUSIMU 2015, the national business simulation contest with their case analysis winning the Prize for Excellence. The national final was held in Guanghua School of Management, Peking University from April 28 to 30.

The contest is designed to foster the competitive awareness, team spirit as well as the macro corporate management capabilities of the students through the computer-simulated competitive environment.

There were two divisions in the contest: the division of MBA programs and the division of undergraduate programs. 310 teams from 66 MBA programs and 2,570 teams from undergraduate programs of the universities in China participated in the contest. Only 16 MBA teams and 40 undergraduate teams made it to the national final after a series of selections including the preliminary selection, the quarter-final and the semi-final. The two teams from HFUT Xuancheng Campus won the Third Prize for MBA programs and the First Prize for undergraduate programs respectively.

BUSIMU 2015 was jointly sponsored by China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee, Union ofExperimental Teaching Demonstration Centers of Higher Institutes and Professional Committee of Decision Simulation of China Society for Management Modernization and organized by Guanghua School of Management of Peking University, Economic & Management Experimental Teaching Center of Peking University and the Organizing Committee of BUSIMU altogether.
