Nature Index（Nature, Vol. 516, S68，doi:10.1038/516S68a, 2014）posted a positive remark on HFUT’s contribution to the basic research areas.

The index gave exclusive report on two HFUT scholars’ work in their respective research areas, covering Luo Baolin from School of School of Electronic Science and Applied Physics for his research work on the complete localization of nanowires and Professor Zuo Ruzhong from School of Materials Science and Engineering for his work on lead-free ceramics. They were two major contributors to the WFC (Weighted fractional count) of HFUT papers in 2013, with their work published mainly on Applied Physics Letters.
