HFUT claimed the Outstanding Contribution Award at the 21^stCERNET Annual Academic Conference in Beijing.

The year 2014 marked the 20^thanniversary of China’s internet era and the founding of (CERNET) the China Education and Research Network. After development in the past 20 years, CERNET now covers more than 200 cities, becoming the world’s largest online academic network and the largest IPv6 internet.

With solid internet service and sustained technological R&D, HFUT has made a notable contribution to building CERNET. In the future, HFUT will continue to play a leading role in technological R&D and strive to make breakthroughs in operating cloud, public cloud and scientific cloud in a bid to offer more sound and flexible internet and information service to the users.

The main campus and the Xuancheng campus of HFUT were both awarded “Advanced User of CERNET of Anhui Province in 2014”.
