On February 2, Elsevier released the list of 2014 Most Cited Chinese Researchers. Professor Ren Weixin from School of Civil Engineering is among the list.

The statistical data is based on the Scopus database from Elsevier. Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature and features tools to track, analyze and visualize scholarly research.

The inclusion in the Most Cited Chinese Researchers is the recognition for the research’s international influence on and profound contribution to the researcher’s field. 1,651 Chinese scholars were included in the list.
