HFUT ranked third on information disclosure among the 75 universities directly under the Ministry of Education (MOE) in China according to the Assessment Report of Information Disclosure in Chinese Universities.

HFUT is one of the universities in China that started information disclosure at an early time. In recent years, based on the MOE document, it has further improved mechanisms on information disclosure with great results.

In 2014, in fulfilling the List on Information Disclosure in Universities issued by the State Council, HFUT strengthened the construction of websites for information disclosure, established a uniform platform to release information and compiled an annual report on information disclosure.

Better communication has been formed among faculties, students and the society with emphasis on finance, programs, enrollment, employment etc.. A multi-tiered information disclosure system through various media channels was put in place to further enhance governance, supervision and development of HFUT.
