Two teaching plans and six pieces of work from HFUT won prizes in the National Architecture Teaching Plans and Work Evaluation 2014 held in Dalian University of Technology from Oct. 17 to Oct. 19.

Over 120 teaching plans and 120 pieces of works from 55 universities were submitted to the judging panel consisting of professors from prestigious universities like Tsinghua University, Tianjin University, Tongji University, Southeast University and City University of Hong Kong, and famous architects from various design institutes across China. HFUT sent three teaching plans and nine pieces of work to the evaluation. The evaluation of teaching plans is newly-added this year.

Sponsored by National Supervision Commission for Higher Education in Architecture, the annual Evaluation was first held in 2002 with an eye to facilitate exchanges in architecture education among universities in China by studying and evaluating works of architecture.

HFUT has been a constant winner in the Evaluation since its inception, ranking among the tops in the universities of China, thereby enhancing the influence of architecture studies and HFUT in China.
