“Innovative R&D and Application Demonstration of Numerical Control Mechanical Products in Anhui Province”, the National Key Technology Research and Development Program jointly submitted by HFUT and a list of companies like Hefei Meiya Optoelectronic Technology Inc. passed the review of the judging panel from Ministry of Science and Technology and Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology on Oct. 16 with a total fund of 22.15 million RMB.

In line with the special and advantageous smart sorting devices, NC forming devices and automatic packaging machines of agricultural products in Anhui Province, the Program aims to launch innovative R&D and application demonstration of NC Mechanical Products, make breakthroughs in several key generic technologies, develop a new type of NC systems and products, realize the mass application of home-made NC systems, servo systems and motors so as to build the innovation and R&D platform for NC Generation Mechanical Products, and a system for talents cultivation and technical services.

HFUT Vice President Liu Xiaoping, relevant personnel from MOST, Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology and other companies attended the reviewing meeting with 15 panelists from Tsinghua University, Beihang University, Tianjin University, Beijing Institute of Technology, China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology, amongst others.

The approval of the program is another breakthrough in HFUT’s undertaking of National Key Technology R&D Program that will upgrade the R&D capabilities and standards of HFUT and further integrate the cooperation between industries, universities and research institutes.
