HFUT team ranks among the top in FSC 2014 held in Hubei Province among the 2,000 contestants from 80 teams from China and Germany.

The competition was divided into Static Competition and Dynamic Competition, with the former covering argumentation of design, cost and marketing reports and the latter consisting of linear acceleration, high-speed barrier avoiding, durability, economy test, etc.. HFUT team won the 5th place (4th domestically) in electrical vehicle group, and 5th place (3rd domestically) in durability and marketing report.

FSC is hailed as the cradle of automobile engineers with a wide participation of students majored in automotive engineering across China.
